Hi, I’m KRISTEN!

Welcome to my blog! I am passionate about living a happy and healthy lifestyle.

The three pillars that drive change towards a happy and healthy lifestyle are self-education, action, and community involvement. Feeling unwell or “not yourself” without answers from the medical community can be frustrating. In my health journey I learned that uncovering what was making me feel unwell took years of perseverance with slow progress. I have come a long way over the past 3 years and am still learning everyday on my journey to wellness. I started this blog to help the healing process along for others in need.


My Approach

SELF-EDUCATION

How does your body feel? How does your mind feel? What is your environment like? What do you eat? Instead of thinking about how you feel and your environment as “normal” start taking note of how your mind and body feels on a daily basis from head to toe.

ACTION

Once you understand the picture of who and how you are feeling, we prioritize what problems to solve and who can help you solve them. While there may not be obvious answers yet, we can already start identifying health stressors in our everyday life and work to lessen them.

COMMUNITY

Living with a disability or health condition can be daunting. It is important to adapt to new lifestyle needs and find a community of support.
